Yak-18 Flight

Yak-18
Yak-18 Max

If one of your childhood dreams was to actually "fly" a plane, and be able to look down at the earth from a bird's eye view – we can make that dream come true! FLY a Yak-18!

The first postwar design was the Yak-18 of 1946, a two-seat tandem trainer with a 160hp radial engine, variable pitch propeller and retractable undercarriage superficially similar to the earlier UT-2, but a much more advanced aircraft. This was a huge success, adopted by flying clubs and military alike. Yuri Gagarin learned to fly in one.

The Yak 18T, another post-war design, is a four seat retractable aeroplane designed for cross-country work. It has excellent short field performance and is stressed for aerobatics. Modified and updated for Western use, by adding instrumentation illumination, intercom, and a landing headlight. The 18T is an excellent all-round, all-weather performer, comfortable and spacious inside, with good endurance, load-carrying capacity and cruise performance.

The plane is simple to steer and service, reliable and trouble-free, even if a little heavy on the controls, because it was built for flight training and aerobatics. Nine world records were established in Yak-18. It is still successfully used in a number of foreign countries.

The climax of your flight would be when the pilot asks you if you like to take over the controls for a while. Just think... you would be piloting a Yak-18!

You will have twenty five minutes of boundless euphoria and pleasure! You must not forget to take your camera with you!

If you are ready to "walk" in the clouds, call us we will arrange it for you!
