One of the oldest Russian universities - Moscow State University was established in 1755. In 1940 it was named after Academician Mikhail Lomonosov (1711 - 1765), an outstanding Russian scientist, who greatly contributed to the establishment of the University in Moscow.
The Tour program includes:
- A sightseeing tour on the Moscow State University;
- The Earth Science Museum of MSU (28 floor);
- A Columned hall the Rotunda (31 floor);
- The Museum of Leaders (32 floor, an internal balcony);

Sightseeing tour on the Moscow State University
The story starts on the stair of the Main building of the Moscow State University. You will hear myths and the legends about the Main building, learn a lot about architectural features of a building and all complex of the Moscow State University, about its unique ex-terrier and internal furnish.
During a short tour you visit halls of 1 and 2 floors of the Main building and after it high-speed lifts will transfer you on 28th floor, where you will visit the Earth Science Museum of the Moscow State University.
Earth Science Museum of the Moscow State University
We offer you to visit the latest floor of the Earth Science Museum, the main part of the exposition is unique collection of meteorites, rocks and products of volcanic eruptions... The most interesting or visitors are splinters of the Sikhote-Alin meteorite, fragments of "black smokers" and many others.
Columned hall a Rotunda
The highest in Moscow state chamber – a rotunda with a magnificent colonnade under a grandiose dome of 32d floor – is an architectural pearl of a university complex. Now there the Museum of History of the Moscow State University is situated, and also constantly photo and other exhibitions take place.
The exposition of Museum tells about the contribution to different sciences, made the oldest Russian university. You will see original documents of Moscow State University history, models of historical buildings of the Moscow State University and other materials on history of building of University.
The rotunda arch is decorated by a star from this the most ruby glass of which the Kremlin stars are made.
Museum of Leaders
The museum of Leaders is our pride! Any tour except ours never happened here. All possible subjects ever taken from dusty archives of the Moscow State University are carefully stored here. It is impossible to tell about it. You need to see it!
Observation point
At last you reach the final point of our tour – observation point on 32d floor! Our guides can tell you stories about history of our capital by hours.
The tour will take approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.
