About the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Chile on the conditions of refusal of visa formalities for mutual trips of Russian citizens and citizens of the Republic of Chile

On January 18, 2011 the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Chile takes effect of the conditions of refusal of visa formalities for mutual trips of Russian citizens and citizens of the Republic of Chile, signed in New York on September 24, 2010.

In accordance to the agreement citizens of the Russian Federation and citizens of the Republic of Chile, who have valid passports, except for diplomatic, official and formal, giving the right to cross the border, may enter, exit, transit and stay on the territory of another country without a visa up to 90 days during each period of 180 days from the date of first entry.

The citizens of one state, intending to stay or reside in another state for more than 90 days, or engage in labor or commercial activities on its territory, must obtain visa at the diplomatic mission or consular office of the State in accordance to the law of this State.
